Where were you born? How long have you lived in Hay?
I was born in Hereford hospital and have lived all my life in Hay area

Work Background:
I was educated at Brecon Technical Grammar school to A level, expelled at 16 and joined family outfitters. Whilst this was my main employment I've also been a partner in the family licensed restaurant at the Granary and a founding partner of a construction firm and undertaken property development.  I also am a private landlord.

Interests both within/outside Council:
I am a member of a number of working groups and sub committees and as deputy mayor I feel it necessary to keep my finger upon the pulse of all sub committees where practicable. As to my interests, I find the natural world enthralling including the vagaries of humanity. I am also fascinated by the industrial archaeology of Wales with particular emphasis on the old metal mines.

Reason for joining the Council:
Simply put I love my town and its people and felt I had something to offer back.
